تیمی توێژینەوەی زانستی ڕێکخراوی کەمئەندامانی هەڵەبجە بەتوێژینەوەیەکی زانستی بەناونیشانی (ئاستی زانیاری لەبارەی ئۆتیزم و پابەندی بەکۆدە ڕەوشتییەکان لەلای چارەسەرکارانی منداڵانی شەبەنگی ئۆتیزم لە سەنتەرەکانی ئۆتیزم لە هەرێمی کوردستان) بەشداربوو لەیەکەمین کۆنفرانسی زانستی نێودەوڵەتی (پاراستنی منداڵ، ئیستاو داهاتوو) کە لە ڕۆژانی ١٩-٢٠/ ٩/ ٢٠٢٤ لە هەولێری پایتەخت سازدرا.

توێژینەوەکە هەوڵێکی زانستی نوێیە بەمەبەستی خستنەڕووی ئاستی زانستی و پابەندی ڕەوشتی و پیشەیی چارەسەرکارانی منداڵانی ئۆتیزم. بەیەکەمین توێژینەوەی زانستیش دادەنرێت بەوردی و ئەکادیمی تیشک بخاتە سەر گرنگی داڕشتنی پرۆگرامێکی زانستی و ڕەوشتی بۆ سەنتەرەکانی ڕاهێنانەوەی منداڵانی ئۆتیزم.

 دەرەنجامەکانی توێژینەوەکە لەتوانایدایە ببێتە بناغەی داڕشتنی سیاسەتی کاری سەنتەرەکان و چارەسەرکارانیان، چونکە لەئاستێکی باڵاداو لەلایەن تیمێکی فرە پسپۆڕییەوە ئەنجامدراوەو لەهەردوو لایەنی تیۆری و مەیدانیدا زۆرترین زانیاری پشتڕاستکراوە دەخاتەڕوو.

The scientific research team of the Halabja Disabled Organization contributed to a study entitled The Code of Conduct for Autism Therapists in Governmental Centers (with Halabja, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, Duhok, and Garmian as sample areas). This research was presented at the First International Scientific Conference on Child Protection: Present and Future, held on 19-20 September 2024 in Erbil.

The study represents a novel scientific approach to assessing the professional, ethical, and scientific standards maintained by therapists working with children with autism. It is the first research of its kind to emphasize the critical need for a comprehensive scientific and ethical framework for training centers serving children with autism.

The findings from this study are poised to serve as a foundation for establishing work policies within these centers and for guiding the conduct of therapists. Conducted by a multidisciplinary team, the research provides thoroughly validated insights into both theoretical and practical aspects.

This conference was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in collaboration with UNICEF and Save the Children.

Today, representatives from the Halabja Disabled Organization visited Mrs. Nukhsha Nasih, Governor of the Halabja Central District, to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation for her unwavering support. During the visit, she graciously presented gifts to the children.

The Halabja Disabled Organization successfully concluded its ten-month training program on Specific Learning Disabilities, conducted as part of a comprehensive educational initiative aimed at fostering a peaceful and inclusive environment for students with disabilities. Throughout the training sessions, participants gained valuable insights into the diverse range of specific learning disabilities affecting students and were equipped with the necessary strategies to effectively address and support these learners

People with disabilities often encounter significant challenges in securing employment due to a range of factors, including unequal opportunities, lack of appropriate experience, insufficient support, limited accessibility, and pervasive negative perceptions about their abilities. Acknowledging these barriers, the Halabja Disabled Organization (HDO) has consistently strived to be a platform that advocates for the rights of people with disabilities and seeks to alleviate the difficulties they face through various initiatives.

We are thrilled to announce that one of HDO's projects, which focuses on utilizing technology to enhance income generation and expand a poultry initiative aimed at providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities, has been selected for the prestigious 2025 Zero Project Award. Out of 522 global submissions in the fields of technology and employment, our project is among the chosen few.

This year, ZeroCall25 sought the most innovative, effective, and impactful solutions in employment and technology. From 90 countries and 522 projects, we are honored to be included among the 160 selected, and we are proud to be the only organization from Iraq to achieve this recognition. This accomplishment highlights the significance of our efforts in fostering change, promoting inclusion, and providing employment opportunities and support for people with disabilities.

The final list of awardees will be announced on December 3, 2024, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to showcase our work at the Zero Project 2025 Conference, to be held at the United Nations Office in Vienna next March, where we aim to further advance our mission to serve people with disabilities.
