Thursday morning6/2/2025 Halabja Disabled Organization visited the Presidency of Halabja University to congratulate the new President of the University Professor Dr. Bamo Parwez. During the visit they discussed the activities of the organization and reaffirmed their continued support to further serve all sectors of society. The new president also expressed his full support and promised to work together better.

Halabja Disabled Organization conducted a two-day academic training for employees of Sharazoor Directorate under the title (TOT training for the staff of the Directorate of Agriculture on soil pollution prevention and waste removal practices. And Climate Action for Resilience). the Participants benefited from the practical and theoretical experience of the trainer in order to continue to provide agricultural guidance. Many scientific sources indicate that in the coming years, artificial intelligence in some businesses will change from facilitator to substitute, introducing our youth to this stage is an important and necessary step. Halabja Disabled Organization gathered youth in a scientific training entitled (Artificial Intelligence and Job Opportunities). بەشێكی زۆر لە سەرچاوە زانستییەكان ئاماژە بۆ ئەوە دەكەن لە ساڵانی داهاتوودا ژیری دەستكرد لەبەشێكی كاروبارەكاندا لە ئاسانكارەوە بۆ جێگرەوە دەگۆڕێت، ئاشناكردنی گەنجانمان بەو قۆناغە هەنگاوێكی گرنگ و پێویستە. ڕێكخراوی كەمئەندامانی هەڵەبجە گەنجانى له ڕاهێنانێكی پڕ زانستی بەناونیشانی (ژیری دەستكردو هەلەکانی كار) کۆکردەوە. ڕەهێنانەکە لەماوەی دوو ڕۆژدا لەلایەن (د.عبدالباسط محمد) پسپۆڕی ژیری دەستكردەوە پێشكەش دەكرێت.

Agriculture
Agriculture plays a pivotal role as one of the nation's key economic resources, and it is our collective responsibility to safeguard and enhance its development.
Halabja Disabled Organization (HDO) is currently implementing its latest initiative, Enhancing the Capacity of Women and Youth in Agriculture to Build Resilience to Climate Change. This project is executed in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) under the auspices of the WASL Fund.
To achieve the project's objectives and ensure the active engagement of relevant stakeholders, the project team has conducted a series of meetings with key partners, including the Sharazoor Agricultural Directorate, the Said Sadiq Farmers Union, youth volunteers, and exemplary farmers from the region.
As a result of these discussions, the participants agreed to establish an Agricultural Advisory Board. This board will play a crucial role in supervising and providing strategic guidance to farmers across the region.
