Towards an inclusive and non-discriminatory educational environment
Halabja Disabled Organization met with the general committee of schools (Dlin and Hawar).
The meeting emphasized the following points:
Renovation of schools: The representative of the organization highlighted the renovation projects of both schools, which have been implemented according to international standards of "universal education", to meet the needs of all students. They discussed the preparation of a "comprehensive room" with all the equipment and supplies. The relevant parties and committees, while congratulating them, stressed the importance of using these rooms to further serve the educational process. Drafting appropriate plans to overcome the obstacles facing the education process.Finally, Mr. (Awara) was thanked as an active member of the general committee for providing electricity to Hawar school.

یونسکۆ، بە هاوبەشی لەگەڵ کەسانی پێویست (PiN)، لە شاری هەولێر مێزگردێکی لەسەر "پەروەردەی بەرپەرچدانەوەی قەیرانەکان: ئامادەکاری، بەردەوامی فێربوون، و ڕۆڵی شێوازەکانی ئۆنلاین" کۆکردەوە.
مێزگردەکە بە سەرۆکایەتی ڕێکخراوی کەمئەندامانی هەڵەبجە (HDO)، نوێنەرانی وەزارەتی پەروەردە لە هەرێمی کوردستان، سەرکردەی قوتابخانەکان، PTA، و ڕێکخراوە کۆمەڵایەتییەکان لە ئەندامانی کۆڕبەندی پەروەردەی کۆمەڵگەی مەدەنی عێراق کە لەلایەن یونسکۆوە دامەزرا، کۆکرایەوە.
گفتوگۆکە لەسەر بەهێزکردنی ئامادەکاری، دڵنیابوون لە بەردەوامی فێربوون لە کاتی قەیرانەکاندا، و چارەسەرکردنی ئاستەنگەکانی پەیوەست بە فێربوونی ئۆنلاین و تێکەڵاو بوو. هەروەها بەشداربووان بیریان لە ململانێی هەرێمی ئەم دواییە و کاریگەرییەکانی لەسەر پەروەردە لە هەرێمی کوردستان کردەوە، بە تایبەتی پشکنین بۆ ئەو ڕێوشوێنانەی کە لە لایەن وەزارەتی پەروەردەوە گیراونەتەبەر، بۆشاییە هەنووکەییەکان، و ڕاسپاردەکان بۆ بەرزکردنەوەی ئامادەیی بۆ قەیرانەکانی داهاتوو.

In April 15, 2026 the first trip of Halabja Organizations Solidarity Platform to Tawgoz area, and the grave of the famous Kurdish poet (Maulawi) on the Sarshata.
It should be served by people of the round and the government, since the grave of most famous poet is there, also the area is incredible and attractive tourist place as well.

ئامانج لەم کۆنفرانسەداڕشتنی پلانی هاوبەش و خستنەڕووی دیدگایەکی نوێ دەبێت بەمەبەستی کاری پێکەوەیی بە پشت بەستن بەنوێترین دەرەنجامەکانی توێژینەوە زانستییەکان.

ڕۆژی ١٥/٤/٢٠٢٦ یەکەمین گەشتی سەکۆی هاودەنگی ڕێکخراوەکانی هەڵەبجە بۆ ناوچەی تاوگۆز، و مەزاری شاعیری ناوداری کورد (مەولەوی) لەسەرشاتە.
پێویستە لەلایەن خەڵکی ناوچەکە و حکومەتەوە خزمەت بکرێت، لەبەر ئەوەی مەزاری بەناوبانگترین شاعیری لێیە و ناوچەیەکی زۆر جوان و سەرنجڕاکێشی گەشتیارییە.

Crisis-ready education for continuous, inclusive learning.
UNESCO, in partnership with People in Need (PiN), convened a roundtable in Erbil on “Crisis-Responsive Education: Preparedness, Continuity of Learning, and the Role of Online Modalities.”
The roundtable, chaired by Halabja Disabled Organization (HDO), brought together representatives from the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Region, school leaders, PTAs, and CSOs from members of the Iraqi Civil Society Education Forum established by UNESCO.
The discussion focused on strengthening preparedness, ensuring learning continuity during crises, and addressing challenges related to online and blended learning. Participants also reflected on the recent regional conflict and its impact on education in Kurdistan Region, particularly examining measures taken by the Ministry of Education, existing gaps, and recommendations to enhance preparedness for future crises.
The session concluded with key recommendations aimed at strengthening coordination, promoting inclusive approaches, and building a more resilient education system. The roundtable was organized under the ITALEEM project, supported by the European Union.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is classified as one of the major neurodevelopmental disorders. Globally, the prevalence of individuals diagnosed with autism is witnessing a significant and steady increase.
In a new strategic step, the Halabja Disabled Organization held a meeting to organize an International Scientific Conference titled "Autism: Diagnosis, Intervention, and Rehabilitation." The meeting was held at Salahaddin University with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mazin Abdulkhaliq Othman, Dean of the College of Basic Education; Dr. Araz Hakim Reza, Head of the Special Education Department; Mr. Hemin Jalal, Director of Bahoz Center; and members of the various conference committees.
The objective of this conference is to formulate a joint action plan and present a new vision for collaborative work, grounded in the latest findings of scientific research.
The Halabja Disabled Organization works diligently to support all segments of the community with special needs. To this end, it places great importance on scientific endeavors and both local and international conferences.
