Dignity Day of Persons with Disabilities
On this significant occasion, the humanitarian, scientific, professional, and academic conference titled "A Facilitated Environment, an Inclusive Society" was held, focusing on the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
The conference was the result of a broad vision and continuous efforts to enhance the quality of life and ensure the rights of people with disabilities. It served as a platform for presenting scientific research recommendations, decisions, and guidelines, as well as plans from the relevant ministries of the Kurdistan Regional Government. The event featured inspiring personal stories, academic perspectives from various conference committees, and constructive dialogue. Together, these elements laid a strong foundation for achieving a more inclusive and accessible society.
The conference was organized with the support of the Deputy Prime Minister, the University of Sulaimani - College of Humanities, the Halabja Disabled Organization, the Departments of Sociology and Social Work, and the Kurdsat Media Agency, with sponsorship from the Halabja Group.
Conclusion of Sign Language Training
The Halabja Disabled Organization, in collaboration with the Medya Medical Organization and under the supervision of the Halabja General Directorate of Education, successfully conducted a series of "Learning Sign Language" trainings for special education teachers. This training provided participants with foundational skills in sign language, emphasizing essential topics that special education teachers can integrate into their teaching practices to support students with disabilities.
The training sessions were led by two skilled instructors, Ms. Blesa and Ms. Hannah, whose expertise greatly contributed to the program's success.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Medya Medical Organization and the General Directorate of Education of Halabja for their invaluable support in making this initiative possible.
کۆتایی هێنان بە ڕاهێنانی زمانی ئاماژە
ڕێکخراوی کەمئەندامانی هەڵەبجە و ڕێکخراوی میدیایی پزیشکی بەسەرپەرشتی بەڕێوبەرایەتی گشتی پەروەردەی هەڵەبجە هەستان بە ئەنجامدانی زنجیرە ڕاهێنانی "فێربوونی زمانی ئاماژە" بۆ ژمارەیەک لەمامۆستایانی پەروەردەی تایبەت .
لەماوەی ڕاهێنانەکەدا بەشداربووان ئاشناکران بە بنچینەکانی زمانی ئاماژە و باسکردنی ئەو بابەتانەی کە بۆ مامۆستایانی پەروەردەی تایبەت گرنگن لەژیانی مامۆستایەتیاندا بۆ خزمەتی خوێندکارانی خاوەن پێداویستی تایبەت بەکاری بهێنن.
شایەنی باسە ڕاهێنانەکە لەلایەن هەردوو مامۆستای لێهاتوو (م. بڵێسە و م. هانا) وترایەوە.
لەکۆتایدا زۆر سووپاس بۆ ڕێکخراوی میدیایی و بەڕێوبەرایەتی گشتی پەروەردەی هەڵەبجە.
پێشوازیکردن و پێدانەوەی بڕوانامەی بەشداریکردن
لە بەرواری ٨/١١/٢٠٢٤ ڕێکخراوی کەمئەندامانی هەڵەبجە پێشوازیکرد لە ڕێکخراوی ئارسان خاتوو (پەری خان) و ستافەکەیان بەمەبەستی پێدانەوەی بڕوانامەی بەشداریکردن بە بەشداربوانی پێشبڕکێی نیشتیمانی ماجیک ماث.
شایەنی باسکردنە ڕێکخراوی کەمئەندامانی هەڵەبجە لەڕێگەی بەشدایرپێکردنی پێنج منداڵی خاوەن پێداویستیەوە بۆ ئەمساڵیش توانی پلەی زۆر باش بەدەستبهێنێت.
لەکۆتایدا زۆر سوپاس بۆ ڕێکخراوی ئارسان بۆ پاڵپشتیکردنی منداڵانی خاوەن پێداویستی تایبەت لەم جۆرە پڕۆگرامانەدا.

Presentation of Awareness Seminars
The Halabja Disabled Organization has continued its efforts to raise awareness about children with disabilities by conducting a seminar for (Bakhi Mir Kindergarten).
We sincerely extend our gratitude to Bakhi Mir Kindergarten for their warm hospitality and the invaluable services they provide to children with disabilities.

The Halabja Disabled Organization participated in the High Committee meeting for the Scientific Conference on "People with Disabilities / Accessible Environment - Inclusive Society," to discuss preparations for the upcoming conference scheduled for December 3, 2024, in observance of the World Day of Persons with Disabilities. This conference is a collaborative effort between Sulaimani University and the Halabja Disabled Organization.

welcoming and awarding of certificates of participation
On November 8, 2024, the Halabja Disabled Organization (HDO) proudly hosted a welcoming and awards ceremony to honor participants of the National Magic Math Competition. The event was attended by Ms. Pri Khan and her team from Arsan Organization, who presented certificates to the young achievers. HDO was thrilled to celebrate the success of five children with disabilities who participated in this year’s competition, achieving outstanding ranks and showcasing their talents.
A heartfelt thank you to Arsan Organization for their continuous support of children with disabilities, empowering them to shine in programs like these.

The Halabja Disabled Organization extended a warm welcome to champion Muslim Akram, presenting him with a flower bouquet in recognition of his remarkable achievement of securing third place in the Asian Paralympic Championships.
Muslim Akram, representing the Khurmal Karate Club, was the sole Iraqi Paralympic athlete to compete in the Asian Karate Championships, where he proudly claimed the third-place title. His success stands as a testament to the fact that individuals with disabilities can accomplish their goals when provided with an enabling environment.
The Halabja Disabled organization also expresses its sincere gratitude to Khurmal Karate Club for its unwavering dedication to supporting those in need and for participating in such prestigious tournaments.
