Participation
As the sole representative from the Kurdistan Region, the Halabja Disabled Organization's delegate participated in the inaugural conference of the National Team of Youth with Disabilities in Iraq, under the supervision of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. The event, held in Baghdad, was attended by several ministers, advisors, directors general, and other relevant parties.
The national team is tasked with drafting a strategic plan for individuals with disabilities, incorporating suggestions and feedback from various stakeholders to design and implement appropriate services. This team will operate under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister's Office. During the initial meeting, the objectives and responsibilities of the national team were presented.

Monitoring and Evaluation Training
The Halabja Disabled Organization continues its training efforts under the framework of the "Young Leaders" project to serve more youth. A new topic, "Project Monitoring and Evaluation," was recently presented by Mr. Khubaib Nader, an expert in the field of monitoring and evaluation from Al-Mujhar Company.

Conducting a Training on Parenting Skills
Nyan Aziz, a Psychotherapist from our organization, conducted a comprehensive training session on parenting skills. The training covered various stages of child development and elucidated the critical factors that enable mothers to better understand their babies. Additionally, it addressed the essential roles parents should embody in the upbringing of their children.
Key topics of discussion included the appropriate ages for parents to guide and limit their child's behavior and desires, and at what age children should be encouraged to become self-reliant. This informative session was attended by a group of parents keen on enhancing their parenting techniques.
Climate Gambit Rapid Chess Tournament Participation
On July 29, 2024, the Halabja Disabled Organization, invited by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), participated in the Weather Gambit Chess Tournament. The event aimed to highlight the efforts of civil society organizations in the fields of environment and climate change.
At this prestigious event, the Halabja Disabled Organization showcased its high-level activities and initiatives. A notable highlight was a special seminar conducted by Mr. Mariwan Wahbi, which added significant value to the proceedings.
During the tournament, Hazhand Hafiz Hamatqi, representing the Halabja Disabled Organization, secured fourth place out of 150 participants in the chess competition. This achievement underscored the organization's commitment to excellence and its active participation in diverse fields.
The event was organized with the support of both the central government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, facilitated by the IOM.

چالاكییهكه لهسهر چهند ئاستێك بەڕێوەچوو، لهوانه نمایشی كارو چالاكییهكانی ڕێكخراوهكانی كۆمهڵگهی مهدهنی لهبواری ژینگهو كهش و ههوادا، لهم ئاستهدا (ڕێكخراوی كهمئهندامانی ههڵهبجه) لهئاستێكی باڵادا نموونهیهك له چالاكییهكانی خستهڕوو. ئهمه جگه له پێشكهشكردنی سیمینارێكی تایبهت لهلایهن (م.مریوان وههبی)هوه.
لهئڤێنتهكهدا پێشبڕكێی شهترهنج سازكرابوو، لهم ئاستهدا (ههژهند حافظ حمهتقی) به نوێنهرایهتی ڕێكخراوی كهمئهندامانی ههڵهبجه، توانی پلهی چوارهم لهنێو (150) بهشداربوودا بهدهست بهێنێت.

Participation
The Halabja Disabled Organization actively participated to the initiation and promotion of the "Oviedo" project, aimed at combating drug abuse. This initiative was orchestrated by the Civilization Development Organization (CDO) in collaboration with the Halabja Organizations Network, as part of their concerted efforts to tackle drug-related issues.
