Training programmes for educational supervisors
Halabja Disabled Organization with the support of Fida International started to conduct a series of training programmes for educational supervisors of Halabja and Penjwen General Directorates of Education.
On 25/6/2022 the first training was conducted on the role of supervisors in special education and the guidelines of the Ministry of Education on special education.
During the training, some decisions were made to develop special education.

Improving accessibility for people with disability in Halabja Public Park closing ceremony
In the presence of the Governor of Halabja, Mayor of Halabja, International Handicap Organization, representatives of the General Directorate of Education, the head of educational supervisors, Most of the representatives of governmental and non-governmental offices in Halabja, Halabja NGO networks, human rights department, disability organizations, and media channels.
HDO has completed the Improving accessibility for people with disability in Halabja Public Park, This project is supported by Australian Embassy under the Direct Aid Program and under the supervision of the Presidency of Halabja Municipality.

Youth Empowerment
Within the continuation of our projects and activities, Halabja Disabled Organization organized 4 days Trianing Course on ( create Google and Microsoft accounts and thier services) for a group of youth with and without disabilities in Halabja.
Finally, the certificate of participation was disturbuted to the participants.

Meeting with UNOCHA
Halabja Disabled organization participated in a meeting between(UNOCHA) and Local organisation in Halabja, to discuss the needs and challenges of NGOs in Halabja.

تفخر السفارة الأسترالية في بغداد بدعمها لاعادة تأهيل حديقة حلبجة العامة لتحسين إمكانية الوصول إلى الحديقة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
لقد نفذت منظمة حلبجة للمعاقين هذا المشروع ومن خلال تمويل من برنامج المساعدة المباشرة الأسترالي.
The Australian Embassy Baghdad is proud to have supported the rehabilitation of Halabja Public Park to improve the park’s accessibility for people with disabilities.
This project was implemented by Halabja Disabled Organization through funding from Australia’s Direct Aid Program.

Halabja Disabled Organization in cooperation with Halabja Technical Institute and College of Applied Science organized 4 days Trianing Course on (Microsoft Office) for a group of youth with and without disabilities in Halabja.

As Halabja Disabled Organization we would like to extend our appriciation for Halabja Technical Institute and the teachers of IT Department for organizing and teaching the course.
سەردان و کۆبوونەوە
بەرواری 5.6.2022 ڕێکخراوی کەمئەندمانی هەڵەبجە پێشوازیانکرد لە ڕێکخراوی منداڵپارێزی کوردستان-هەڵەبجە و کۆبوونەوە.
لە کۆبوونەوەکەدا کاری هاوبەش و پێکەوەی گفتوگۆی لەسەرکرا کە چۆن هەدوولا هەماهەنگبن لە خزمەتکردن بە منداڵانی خاوەن پێداویستی تایبەتی سنوری پاریزگای هەڵەبجە.
وە بە پێویستی دەزانین سوپاسیان بکەین لەپای گرنگیپێدان و دڵسۆزیان بۆ منداڵانی خوەن پێداویستی تایبەت و هیوادارین نمونەیان زۆربێت.
Visit and meeting
On 5.6.2022 Halabja Disabled Organization welcomed Kurdistan Save the Children Organization-Halabja and held a meeting.
During the meeting future cooperation in serving children with disabilities in Halabja province were discussed.
We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for KSC, for their support for children with special needs.
