Conducting Radio Programs
Mr. Mariwan Wahbi, President of the Halabja Disabled Organization, was a distinguished guest on the "Organizations" segment on Dangi Kurdistan Radio. The discussion centered around the Zero Project conference, an esteemed annual event held in Vienna, Austria. The conference invites organizations, particularly those focused on disability, to submit innovative ideas and participate actively. Zero Project 25 is dedicated to eliminating barriers faced by individuals with disabilities, striving for a more inclusive society.
Introduction to the Book: Principles of Special Education
The Halabja Disabled Organization is proud to announce the continuation of its efforts to enhance special education services. We recently introduced the book Principles of Special Education, authored by Mr. Bahjat Rahman, a renowned special education trainer. This introduction was facilitated by Mr. Tariq Nanakali for special education teachers under the Erbil General Directorate of Education.

Distribution of teaching materials
The Halabja Disabled Organization has continued its efforts to support students, including those with disabilities, by providing teaching materials to congratulate the new special education teachers in schools under the General Directorate of Education of Halabja. These materials are specifically designed for teaching students with disabilities, including those with autism.
Additionally, the organization received a game package from (Mndali Peshang) store which consisting of intellectual and educational games, which will be included in the teaching materials.

Organizations Bootcamp Project Closing Conference
Halabja Disabled Organization participated in the final conference of the boot camp project of Halabja, Kirkuk and Sheikhan organizations, in which the participating organizations were awarded certificates of participation.
The organization bootcamp project was conducted by Peace and Freedom Organization in collaboration with the US Consulate General in Erbil.

Fourth Meeting of the Youth
The Halabja Disabled Organization, in collaboration with the Halabja University Department of Career Development Center, hosted a youth meeting for several young individuals at the Halabja University Career Development Center Hall.
During the discussions, we delved into the role of individuals in society through the lens of Socrates, exploring concepts of self-awareness and understanding our inner selves, including the processes that lead to self-discovery such as truth, knowledge, and virtue.
The aim of these discussions was to introduce our mission of fostering a healthy and aware society.

لەکاتی دەستپێکردنی ئەم دەسپێشخەرییەدا، بانگهێشتتان دەکەین کە لەگەڵمان بن لە پابەندبوونمان بە تێگەیشتن و بەهێزکردن و پشتگیریكردن. پێکەوە دەتوانین کۆمەڵگەیەک دروست بكەین کە هەموو تاکێک هەست بە گرنگی پێدان بکات، بەبێ گوێدانە بەربەستەکانی.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey in Kurdistan and Iraq, Halabja Disabled Organization announced a new and unique initiative in collaboration with Mrs. (Nuxsha Nasih) Governor of Halabja Central District as we proudly launch on a new initiative: the Sunflower Project. It is with great honor that we announce our support for this groundbreaking initiative to raise awareness and support for people with hidden disabilities.
The Sunflower Project represents a significant step forward in advocating for those whose challenges may not always be visible. Through this initiative, we aspire to shed light on the experiences and needs of people living with hidden disabilities, fostering a more inclusive and supportive society.
As we start this journey, we invite you to join us in our commitment to understanding, compassion, and empowerment. Together, we can cultivate a community where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their obstacles.
