Halabja Disabled Organization welcomed the staff of Islamic Relief Organization in Halabja Disabled Organization office. The purpose of their visit is to establish coordination and work together in the future to serve the community and people with disabilities

The Halabja Disabled Organization has started a new project designed for the fruitful lands of Halabja Governorate, which is well-known for its excellent farming conditions. This project aims to support women farmers by training them in Smart Poultry Farming techniques, taking advantage of the city's good conditions for agriculture. The project focuses on women who already have Poultry projects, teaching them how to improve productivity and sustainability. Once they finish the training, 15 women entrepreneurs will get financial support to grow their agricultural businesses, which will assist in boosting the farming economy and creating jobs in Halabja city and nearby areas.

This time youth dialogue consisted of a reading of the book My Left Leg by Christie Brown, in which he talks about her memoirs as a person with disabilities and what she went through until he was able to use her left leg. He has written several novels and books of poetry.

We had an intensive discussion about how to treat people with disabilities, in a way that we do not feel any difference and create equality, because basically we are equal and not treated with compassion but treated normally as human beings.

Part of our discussion was devoted to cerebral palsy which was highlighted by Mr. Bahjat Rahman.
