A Panel was conducted entitled “The role of Governmental officials, Non-profit Organizations and civil society groups to support youth with special needs and implement law number 22 of 2011”.

Halabja Disabled Organization (HDO), in collaboration with the Directorate of Labour and social affairs, Hosted a panel discussion On October 20, 2022, On (The role of Governmental officials, Non-profit organizations, and civil society groups in supporting Youth with special needs and implementing law number 22 of 2011),
The panel has been moderated by Mr. Rastgo Adil, a Program Coordinator at Halabja Disabled Organization.
The discussion began with Ms. Niyan Aziz giving a brief overview of the issues concerning people with disability rights, mainly focused on Halabja Disabled Organization (HDO) Strategies to implement and advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities. After that, panelists discussed the role of Non-governmental organizations and governmental officials in implementing the related article to support Youth with disabilities and promote their capacities.
The panelists were:
1. Ms. Niyan Aziz from Halabja Disabled Organization explained the strategies to implement and advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities.
2. Mr. Arsalan Abed, Head of Halabja network Organization explains the role of Non-governmental organizations in supporting Youth with disabilities and their plans.
3. Chemin Muhammad, Director of the Social Protection Network, discussed their support for Youth with disabilities.
4. Jihad Karim from the Directorate of labour and Social Affairs explains their strategies and plans to implement law number 22 of 2011 of KRI in Halabja City.
