Art exhibition of Two Photographers and two Artists with disabilities in Autumn and Pomegranate Festival in Halabja

Halabja Disabled Organization in coordination with Handicap International Organization in the framework of Inclusive livelihood project arranged and Art and Photography exihibition.

The art exhibition is basically the display of creative artistic works, two artists and two photographers participated in the exhibition with more than 34 art and photography photos. On 29,30 and 31 October 2020.

The place of the exhibition was situated in the center of the Halabja in an open area that was good to protect ourselves from covid-19. The entrance to the Halabja park was so artistically designed. This art exhibition was organized in a good way to include and prove peoples with disabilities skills and abilities in such a great festival, it was a good learning and inspiring experience for us. It was the first time in the last six years of the festival that disabled persons participated in the festival, as the administration of the festival said they were glad to see these artworks and photography photos in the festival. Also, more than 300,000 peoples visited, most of them saw our exhibition and talked to participants.

Throughout this activity, we want to show those peoples who attended the autumn and pomegranate festival in Halabja, as the administration of the festival said during the three days more than 300 000 people visited the festival, also most of them were saw the exhibition and the ability of the artist and photographers. Also, we got feedback from those who visited the exhibition they said it was amazing to see the peoples with disabilities did those amazing artworks and took photography photos.
