Towards a safer work environment

Within the framework of developing the skills of its employees and following international standards, the organization of the disabled conducted a special training course on safeguarding. The training was conducted by M. Saman, presented at Save the Children.

Conducting exercises on the issue of “protection” helps to:

• Awareness update: Remind staff of codes of conduct and how to deal with sensitive situations.

• Build a safe environment: Ensure that the organization is a safe place for everyone (staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries).

• Pre-incident prevention: Identify signs of danger and prevent any violations before they occur.

• Strengthen accountability: When everyone knows the procedures, there is more transparency in work.
